It's easy to assume this is to do with the computer specs. A single file is taking more than a minute to process.and the same file in photo mechanic is taking a number of seconds. However over the past 12 months the export process has been slowing to a point whereby now it is damned near unuseable. Less than 12 months ago Lightroom worked near flawlessly, albeit a bit slow on the larger RAW NEF file sizes encountered by my Nikon Z7 and Nikon D850 camera's. I run a 15" 2013 Macbook Pro Retina, 2.8GHz quad-core Intel i7 with 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Memory & NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 / Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB MB Graphics Processor and a 751.07 GB Apple SSD. ![]() It may be a relic, but my trusty Macbook Pro has been a very high performing relic for a number of years, including very fast image processing via past versions of Lightroom. I am running Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic 9.1 (Camera RAW 12.1) on my ageing Macbook Pro. ![]()
